Home Leadership Program American Partners Application Process About Us Contacts
Welcome

Our Fund offers a unique opportunity for young Czech and Slovak leaders in healthcare, education, and environmental protection. Applicants design their own programs combining executive training at top universities with internships in leading organizations in the United States.

It is up to the applicants to develop their individual programs and, in the process, engage their professional and business contacts in the United States. In designing their program, the applicants should combine executive training at top universities with a professional internship in leading organizations in the United States. The program must be completed within six months in the United States. Our Fund covers the full cost of the program.

Update

Six applicants were nominated for the 2010 round of the Young Leaders Program. Four Czechs and two Slovaks will each receive a lump sum grant, start their programs by July 2010, and complete them within six months. For the first time, we have two participants in the environmental category. Three participants will work with their American partners in the healthcare area and one in education, specifically to study American experience in fostering cooperation between academia and industry, and set up exchange programs for instructors and students.

A call for the 2011 round of applications is tentatively scheduled for the latter part of 2010. The new application submission deadline most likely will be March 31, 2011. Please check our website for updates.
